once you do that can you delete the songs from your computer and is there a way you can do this with windows media player also thanks

iTunes is awful for moving music: absolutely horrific. The easiest way is to just physically copy all the music files yourself and re-import them into your library. You can do the same thing for your media player library.

yes all your itunes music files are in my music, itunes, and then music
i think if you install itunes on a different hard drive it will move music over to that hard drive
also, if that fails, try looking through the settings or help to see any options for music library location
