I just found out on vh1 that there are 2 Gallaghers (the guy that busts watermelons as a comedy act)...am I the only one that didn't know this? The one brother sued the other for stealing his comedy act.

yes that is true, the original plan was for the brother to do an act without the sledge-o-matic, but he did. The original sued and won, but it caused a rift in the family and the father never spoke to the original again. That is the last I heard of it, I am not sure if it is still true about the father not speaking to the son. I am sure there is a web site. I think one of the brothers was very sick and might have died, but I am not sure.

Yes, the younger Gallagher stole the older brother's act. They almost look like twins, but they aren't. Yes...the watermelon smashing brother sued the younger one so he wouldn't use his act anymore.
