With their so-called "success stories" of schmucks who have cushy jobs and ample free time, like everyone who attends this school is going to have that. Yeah, right. What a ripoff!

They aren't trying to make people jealous, they are advertising. These schools are brought to you by middle management social promotions and monuments to nepotism who failed out of regular life. Their solution is to start unaccredited colleges and 'run them like a business.' Of course, in plain English that means scamming a lot of people out of money, defrauding the government, providing a cheap to useless product, and running the whole thing into the ground in about 10 yrs. I've met multiple graduates from both institutions and they know nothing about academia, college, what their degree stands for, or their 'field.' You might as well get one of those diplomas out of the 50 cent crane machines at a fair. Interesting fact - many people with advanced degree from ivy leagues are un or under employed. College degree, Graduate degree does not = good job. Anyhow, the old motto of Devry was "reach for the sky" and that says it all.

Calling them second-rate may be assuming too much. I would say third-rate or fourth-rate is probably a better description.

As others noted, these organizations are in it for the profits and these ads are supposed to get people to enroll and spend money.

Chill out. The TV ads are called comerals. They tell the item, phone number if you want to order, and the price. ;)
