I remember Colin Croft. Very dangerous but so unpredictable. What a wealth of talent the Windies had in those days, Garner, Bishop, Holding, Roberts, Daniel, Croft, Marshall, Holder, Dillon and Walsh.
Where are they replacements? I long for more Windies fast men terrorising batsmen and to even up the competition world wide.

I remember Colin very well. He was a great fast bowler with lot of pace but there was a draw back in his bowling and that was his inconsistency. When Pakistan toured West Indies in 1979 he virtually destroyed the top pakistan batsmen with his lethal bowling taking a best firgure of 8-28 and Pakistan lost the series. He could have served the west indies cricket bit longer had he not been an injury prone.

Just another Windian bowler. Tall, fast, nothing special compared to Abrose/Walsh. Retired cuz of back probs I think.

On a side note, Sidhu referred to him as a DANAV (monster) on an NDTV talk show!

VERY GOOD BOWLER - use to get a big bounce - very dangerous, to face - because he use to come behind the umpire weird run up and then come in front liek HIDE N SEEK .
BUT lot of injury in his later stage of career.

he was good but was not given too mcuh respect as mcu hhe deserved because there were too many good bower in W.I
