Creators of Detectives, Super Heros and Other Interesting Characters
What a fun question! It's nice to see that somebody realizes that there is more to history than the serious stuff. Anyway, those characters all had different creators:
James Bond (007) was created by Ian Fleming
Sherlock Holmes was created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Superman was developed by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster
The Phantom was developed by Lee Falk
Tom & Jerry were created by William Hanna and Joe Barbera (aka Hanna-Barbera) Spider-Man was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko for a story in Amazing Fantasy #15, published in August, 1962.

Sherlock Holmes is a fictional detective of the late 19th and early 20th centuries who made his first published appearance in 1887. He was devised by Scottish author and physician Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
James Bond, also known as 007 (pronounced "double-oh seven"), is a fictional British spy created by writer Ian Fleming in 1952. Fleming wrote numerous novels and short stories based upon the character and, after his death in 1964, further literary adventures were written by Kingsley Amis (pseudonym "Robert Markham"), John Pearson, John Gardner, Raymond Benson, and Charlie Higson

If your asking specifically then above you have all the answers you wanted . If you are asking what kind of person creates characters like those then here is my humble answer.Writers that create characters usually have model them after several people that the know. Mark Twain was always using people he had met or grown up with. Superheros usually come into being from an authurs desire to create what he or she would most like to be or that they belive they are inside and magnify those traits.Tom and Jerry may have been pets he had or even his neigbors kids.

great authors, of course
The key is to have a quirk for your main character.
Sherlock - Doyle
Marple and Poirot - Christie
Nero Wolfe -- Rex Stout
Steph Plum -- Evanovich
007 - Ian Fleming
Look at our faves on tv .... Columbo, Murder She Wrote, Matlock, Columbo, Ironside ... they all had an odd twist.
