depending on how long he's been gone, i could tell you better if it is possible that he is coming back. But if it hasen't been over 1 year. After that there is a good chance he's moved on. But there is always a chance. Just be the person you where before. Show him what he feel in love with in the first place. I hope everything turns out for the better.

Get him to meet you somewhere-like I suggested a restaurant is good for people tend to relax in a food atmosphere-look back through your marriage honestly and could you be at fault-you do not state why he left-what reason does he give you. If you are at fault-tell him you are sorry, that you love him and that you'd b willing to anything and all that one can possibly do to save this marriage, tell him what he means to you, remind him of the things you love about him and the things he's said he loves about you-you must be sincere and convince him that you are sincere. If you have a Church suggest you two talk with your pastor/priest and if not marriage counseling, Ask Him what He would like you to do,what does he want you to change,. The most important thing right now is to communicate-find out his feelings and convey to him that you hold his feelings to be important. If you are really sincere-not pushy, nor whiny, nor accusing-all will keep him away and have him close himself from you.---and if he still has feelings then your sincerity will come across to him and then maybe you two can begin to HEAL your marriage. Again good luck.

Wait ... I'm confused. Is this a man and you are in a heterosexual relationship because your previous question implied you were a man and this question implies you are a woman or a gay man. Those details are necessary to answer the question properly. Post another question with a better explanation because I would love to give some ideas depending on what the situation was.

Stop fooling yourself. He isn't there because someone is holding him hostage against his will? Against his undieing love for you? You had better check your bank account darling. If there is money enough for your next rent payment or house payment then your luckier than most. what you need to do Monday is get a divorce attorney and get alimony payments started so you can at least plan to go back to school, or find a new mate. Wait and rue the waste of time.

Go on vacation together, you will know if the connection still exists. If you feel you have a shot, go for it. If you fail after trying that one last time, at least you know you gave it your all.

if he still loves you...still wants to be with you. still cares about you...why did he leave and remain gone for 2 months? if he loves you, he wouldn't want to hurt and/or torment you...which i'm assuming is exactly what leaving and remaing gone has done to you.
