Good question- I'm glad someone actually brings up this point. Even president Kennedy had affairs on his wife, (just as Clinton did), and they glorify him just because he was killed. The Kennedy's are an embarrassment to this country! I agree with you 100%

Well, the American people consistently vote that Kennedy was the best President in modern history. Now, back in day as they say, people did not look to close at anyone. If we humans did not perfect that ability, we would not have made it this far. However, it is also that the notion of integrity is a ideal we are all striving for, and obviously there has been a great deal of tragedy and misbehavior by and for the Kennedy's, But Kennedy saved our bacon during the Cuban Missile crises. If it had been up to the General, we would have suffered at least several nuclear bombs going off in the United States.
Ronald Reagan comes in on the same polls as closely behind Kennedy. So maybe the American people know what they are doing at times.

The Kennedy's had the world at their fingertips, sad to say they thought money and power were everything.
Over the years, people have considered the family cursed, but I believe that they pushed the envelope too far, thinking that they were invincible, and therefore giving them a license to be reckless.
They have paid a hefty price over the years, and will continue to do so, until they figure out that they are no different than anyone else.
Maybe part of the problem lies with their father Joe Sr( who was far from being a saint) who pushed his kids to be so competitive, they turned it into sheer recklessness in the end, and it became their undoing.
They cant seem to stay out of the headlines for one reason or another, and have become their own worst enemy.

They beautify the Kennedy's because no matter what they do, they have tremendous power in politics and passing the kind of laws they want.
They do not care who the person is, or what they really represent because they are the power brokers that have that power they need to get those laws enacted.
It would be nice for them to like some nice family, but that family could not do for them what they seek.
This comes from a for the greater good way of thinking, the ends justify the means.

The simple answer. With out the money of the Kennedy's and others like them (hollywood) the liberals (meaning democrats in this case) could not compete with business groups and the general public that gives to the other side of the political spectrum....the unions alone would never be able to compete

Every family has their Billy Carters. Look to the real leaders in the family; not the black sheep.
BTW, Ole W has his own skeletons, what with dubious deployment in the Texas National Guard, cocaine use and DUI's.
Not to mention underage drinking by the daughters at frat parties.
And didn't Jeb (or someone else in the family) have an illegal alien as a live-in maid?
And what about the voting scandal in Florida in 2000? Jeb's state, of course!

Not all liberals think so highly of the Kennedys. I know I don't. JFK was sent to the Pacific to get him away from the german spy he was sleeping with. He was passing state secrets along.
I mean cons glorify Bush, but his Granddaddy supported the Nazis.

John Kennedy was considered a hero, and still is considered so by many in this world. Yea, he had affairs,but he was the last US president to truly inspire people all over the world. Freedom is going to be taken from you if you get your way.
