My cat and dog do that all the time...especially because my cat was here a couple of years before we got the dog. They just need to get used to each other and figure out their boundaries as lame as that sounds. My pets still fight sometimes and I have to break it up.

I even have 2 rats. Had 3, however the third became into born a runt and had many well-being subject concerns dying approximately 2 weeks in the past (RIP Kev). you are able to no longer positioned them in an aquarium. they desire the air a cord cage grants them. I mean specific, you ought to use an aquarium (puppy shops do), however the rats would be lots happier with extra air. And extra area for that remember! Rats desire properties with a minimum of two stages. (Mine has 4). they are relatively intelligent, so as that they might lose interest actual!! maximum shops, even Walmart sells rat grain/pellets. additionally supply them treats each and every now and then. wholesome snacks too! they might drink from a bowl, however the water stay lots purifier in a bottle. My rats do exactly right utilising "corn cob horse pellets bedding" from TSC. It help the cage no longer scent. And it relatively is no longer dusty; dusty bedding makes rats sneeze or doubtlessly inhale too lots dirt. additionally, it relatively is a foul concept to get a rat except you have loads of time. A wholesome rat is a social rat. They love human interest and play time in a rat proofed room! So except you have a pair of million hour consistent with day to spend with your new associates, it relatively is no longer a sturdy concept. Rats are the best

I would get rid of the dog. Cats are cleverer.
Seriously : It is possible that they will never get used to one another. I have heard of such cases. But give it a try and if they don't quit quarreling you will have to consider keeping only one of them.

pets quarrel?
hmm..maybe you can quarantine them from each other. put one in this room and another in that room.
time will make them become friends. there are cases where both the dog and cat can live peacefully together. i guess they need time to know each other and make friends.

Dont worry, they will find a compromise. Let them sort eachother out, and stay out of it! Been through this many times. Before long, they will be napping together.
