Yes why not just scrap the constitution when you have such a wonderful man in power who is really working of securing American lives and also trying to make the world into a peaceful heaven like place? What is constitution and democracy worth anyway when it takes such a lovely man away from power?
I think I will start sending post cards to Bush to please please stay in power for ever because we love you!!!

No. To amend the Constitution requires 2/3 of both Houses of Congress as well as 3/4 of the states to ratify any new Amendments. The President lacks the "super-majorities" in Congress to pass an amendment, and there are sufficient "blue states" to block ratification.

Do you know why the limit is two terms? Let me tell you. When Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected to the fourth term it was all the Republicans could do to keep from throwing themselves out of Wall Street windows again, so they passed a Constitutional amendment that limited the Presidential terms to two. It was a Republican idea.

I like Bush, but we don't have kings here and we must not let any one man become too powerful. Besides in today's day and age I don't think any one person could survive more than 8 years in office. Have you seen the before and after pictures of ex presidents?

They can't get 67 senators to agree on banning flag burning. How they going to get any to vote on a third term? Besides, half of them are running for the job.
