The skin fluit IS a musical instrument. It makes my husband sing.

i know how to play the piano and many other percussion instruments. i took piano lessons when i was young and joined the band before.
tried playing the trumpet but i made it sound too bass. seems v aching to play the flute..since you have to shift your hands to a side and sustain them in the air all the time while you're playing. lol.

I used to play the clarinet in High School. And I still kinda play the piano. No I didn't teach myself. Took lessons for many years.

i play guitar, and have been for about 3 years. I took lessons at the beginning and then quit after about a month.
