should i have told my friend that she was hot?

Me and my friend were talking at school about how a lot of people had gotten alot hotter over the summer? She was naming all of these guys and she asked me who i thought had gotten the hottest and she told me not to lie...sobeing truthfull i told her she was. Should i have done this? Will this ruin out friendship?
