I am looking for some rewards such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc. Also, free make-n-take file folder games on reading and math skills at the elementary school level.

Thanks,

Beverly Smith

Have you tried Googling for free school supplies?

Try asking a few local business if they'd be willing to donate anything to you, be sure to take some sort of proof that you work for a school though, as they may be funny about handing out stuff to just anybody! If you're keen for pencils, erasers and stickers, try asking a stationary supplier. Also, perhaps there is somewhere that would sell seconds or rejects cheaply, or give them away.

Also, try asking parents of the children if they can donate stuff or have any contacts that they could ask for stuff you're interested in.

Yahoo answers are here for "Good reasons"
AWARD WINNING 'SCHOOL TO SCHOOL' PROGRAM

Message to other INDIAN school owners as well that
"grants, financial aids, scholarship help, charity, donations" are the activities which if used always by the enduser(student) for too long it may make them 100% dependent. A reputed schools end products should promote and vibrate with self dependency attitude. what activity to start with ?

Hi, B S,
I hope 'UR' Q's are from INDIA

Gentleman, You are among the rare people who are looking to enable FREE learning material for the probably poor/needy students.

Search 'Y' to Find many service centres in the west to donate free stuff to small schools and surprisingly for teachers also,

UR OLD Q's
Refer ur previous Q's You may be interested to buy a school,
remind you, you may not be able to buy it is an educational institution, U need to reform the educational society by enrolling urself or renaming it when U invest into it.

If you are looking for commercial gains only then I suggest U may not reach among best 10 schools in years ahead whatvever u do initially.

OBJECTIVES
If you are looking to ehibit and implement the True meaning of "service" True meaning of "Education" True meaning of "Promoting Education"
If ur interested for "Social service" Helping the poor and the needy students and encouraging the youngsters with spirit of 'social service' boosting their spirits for the cause of service to mankind, If you wish to make ur Indian students salute "The Great Mahatma" from heart, If you do want to carve out end products as with 'social responsibility' youth for the coming ages.
If you wish your students take the responsibility to exchange their study material with the needy. If you want them to vibrate with 'Self Help activity'
If you want to tell them that every student is a student either 'RIch or Poor' helping each other is a duty.

If you want your students to start loving the economically rich students just because they are Rich.
If you want your students to start loving the economically poor students just beacuse they are poor.

If you have any such wishes then browse this school program and try to implement. If U are a real "educationist" you'll be seen practising that and seen frequently on this page again.

It gives pleasure to promote "Education" and answer to UR Q via Yahoo-Ans.

With CD-ROMs being so cheap, maybe download some of my favorite programs, burn them to CDs, and offer them as prizes. These are Windows versions but most also have Mac versions as well.

TuxType (tutor): http://tuxtype.sourceforge.net/ or http://internap.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/tuxtype/Tuxtype2-1.5.3-installer.exe

Tux Racer: http://internap.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/tuxracer/tuxracer-win32-0.61a.zip

The Gimp (image editing, like PhotoShop): http://www.gimp.org

Audacity (audio file editing): http://audacity.sourceforge.net

Blender3D (3D modeling software): http://www.blender.org

OpenOffice (free office suite): http://www.openoffice.org

Jashaka (free video editing): http://www.jahshaka.org

I could find more, if you want.
