I'm going to a Hawaiian party/picnic & need something to wear?

My uncle has to go to this Hawaiian family picnic thing for his work, and so I'm going too, but I don't have anything Hawaiian to wear. What stores sale Hawaiian print clothing? Any ideas on what I can wear?

A lot of stores are having sales now so it should be easy. Depending upon your taste, you could wear capris, a long skirt and top, or a dress. Most stores have items that look Hawaiian. Look at some Hawaiian clothing sites online before you shop so you know what is suitable. Good luck.

the thing about wearing something "hawaiian" is that you can basically wear anything with a floral print. would this picnic happen to be near a beach? if so, i'd recommend wearing like a bathing suit top and a tank over it with either a skirt or boardshorts. a lei would a nice touch, too.

ANY bright floral patterned shirt and light colored shorts would work fine. Actually any normal sane rational American Town City Hamlet has a few Vintage Clothing stores that sell ALOHA Shirts or you can go on line for HILO HATTIES or REYN's (Spooner)SPORTWEAR or Town & Country Surf Hawai'i or HAwai'i'an Island Creations aka HIC Hawai'i and order cool stuff. Also any FABRIC store will carry hibiscus or other floral patterns. Also anything with Sea Turtle / HONU or Marlin or Deepwater Fishing. Go with Happiness sounds like you are stressing out 'has to go,' he and you should be happy to go. Go Hawai'ian. Peace.

wear a lei. or a t-shirt that says "get lei'd"

or anything with hibiscus print will do.

FLIP FLOPS. In Hawaii they call 'em "rubbah slippahs" (or rubber slippers in whit-ese).

Hilo Hatties has em. But they might not be in your area.
