This is not the banal question about why white people like to date asians or vise versa. I want to take a poll to see how many asians actually want to date their own race..in another word..asians. Not just dating, but marrying and actually commit to the other person. Don't you feel more confortable when you share the same culture with your partner? even if you borned in U.S, there is still a cultural difference...the way your parents brought you up and etc.

Oh yeah, not just asians..do white people like to date their own race also?

i hope you people don't see this as a racist question(because i'm not racist) just face the truth....

Well sometimes it's boring being with your own race, you may be the same race but are very different. That's why you need to go test the waters, but if you don't like what you tested don't judge a whole race because of the one person just try again if still doesn't work go back to your own,but don't stay with your own have a little extra on the side, you know,im not saying cheat but it's good to be with a different race once in awhile, try it it's cool :)

I'm Asian and I prefer to date with certain Asians but i also think some people who are white are hot. xP It really just depends. But right now I only like one certain guy and he has the same heritage as me and we both share a lot of things in common. So basically if we're both comfortable with each other it really doesn't matter.

I'm white and for me I am generally not attracted to African-Americans. I like my guy pale, so either white, or Asian. My boyfriend just happens to have a lot of the same racial backrounds that I have. It has more to do with what the person is like.

im in an interracial relationship and i dont see any barrier that makes me feel uncomfortable... actually the cultural differences makes our relationship more interesting... learning or doing things from a different perspective is always awesome. i embrace both cultures and i wish i can experience more cultures

I'm Mexican and never dated a Mexican girl, i grew up with white people so just dated them. in h.s. is when i actually went to school with other Mexicans, i also grew up in a well off part, so i mostly associated with rich white kids. the Mexicans in h.s kind of didn't talk to me , i did stand out as far as not looking, talking or acting the role. also the Mexican and black kids were in gangs so i didn't want to hang with them either...i have nothing againt my race,in fact i'm proud of it, i just never really got to know them and vice versa...
