Why am i being penalized for a loss or abandoned game when the server boots me at no fault of my own?

its been that way for years,,i've had it happen many times.try keeping PC defragged and run CCLEANER free from filehippo.com defrag before playing it helps if your games are being launched by java,right click on explorer advance tab,unckeck the 2 java's listed,,click apply,ok this will help speed up loading game.

Sounds to me like you are playing XBOX LIVE.
I think the reason they do it that way is because alot of people will quit if they know they will lose the game.
