I want to talk to my mom about sex, but every time I bring it up she says I am to young to know abou it I read about it in books, but she has never told me all my friends mothers have talked to them except mine. Should I just ask questions about sex, or should I wait until my mom is ready?

Keep asking. She is just embarrassed. It is embarrassing for adults to speak to children about things that are inappropriate for them to do. She will come around just be patient.

Trying asking your mom to help you understand how important it is for you to wait. Ask her to help you understand pregnancy and std's and the HUGE bundle of feelings that will get confused if you start too early. If you are asking because you are curious, vs getting ready to try, let her know. It can also be important for a young girl to understand how to stay OUT of sexual situations so she doesn't get pushed into having sex when she's not ready.

just say hey mom i have read books about sex and I'm ready for you to give me the sex talk because even if she is not ready for you to be asking this doesn't mean that you are not ready to talk about it . i wish my mom would have talk to me about before i found for myself.

i say ask......and let her know that you feel she would be the most appropriate person to tell you about it......tell her you are just curious, and that there is no need to worry, but you would rather find out about sex from her than any other random person......moms are never ready but they will be if you need them to......good luck.

your mom has her reason, she will come to you when she thinks it's time, most parents do.if you have to ask about sex then i no your way to young.i will tell you about sex, doin't do it until your married save yourself for the person you love. you will never regret that.just maybe cause your friends do it doesn;t mean you have to. WAIT UNTIL YOUR MOM IS READY SHE KNOWS BEST.

YOU NEED TO SIT HER DOWN AND TELL HER THAT YOU ARE READY FOR THE TALK. LET HER KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS THAT YOU ARE CURIOUS ABOUT AND ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS SHE MAY HAVE FOR YOU HONESTLY. ACT LIKE AN ADULT AND SHE WILL MOST LIKELY RESPECT YOU FOR IT AND START TREATING YOU LIKE ONE. GOOD LUCK!

You should ask your mama about it!!! Just treat it as a casual talk and I think your mum will not mind at all!!! That's education also...
