I guess "your point" is that you are too retarded to understand that this is a question & answer board?
Instead you feel the need to use it to "ask" loaded questions.
I just happen to have an IQ of 185, and I am a Liberal. Just for your own education, that means that I believe that some things are best handled by government in order to be effective. That is also known as The Social Contract and is the basis of Western Civilization. If not for Liberalism, we would all be living in armed conclaves, shooting at strangers and struggling not to starve to death or die from some preventable disease before age 6.

Aparently the asker distains liberalism. I consider myself quite liberal. Many others do too. Twenty years ago I looked in a dictionary and found the meaning of the word (because I believed then, as now, that I am liberal). It gave two meanings: 1) open handed (generous), and 2) open-minded (learning oriented). I thought, yeah, I guess I am liberal. I graduated from college in 1994. Even the few politically conservative professors I had very much respected my political views. We had different perspectives, but we remained friendly, respetful of one another and cordial. Liberals aren't "retarded", if that is what is implied. Most college professors would classify themselves as "liberal", and I don't think that professors, as a group, are really "retarded". FYI: the term "conservative" was pejorative in the '70s. It was the election of President Ronald Reagan in 1980 that changed all that. People liked him, and they knew he was definitely conservative - so "conservative" began to seem more likable, "kinder and gentler", if you will.

This is a poster boy for "Shut the **** up!" Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't make him a retard. Maybe I don't agree with the war in Iraq because I've seen much of what's in it and I know his arguments were lies. Maybe, it's because I know two guys who worked on the 9/11 report and had their conclusions changed in order to support the party line. Maybe, it's because we hadn't finished the job we set out to do in Afghanistan. Or could it possibly be because his pre-emptive war was a bad idea from the start. Two of the countries he tried to bully into giving up their nuclear ambitions speeded up their nuke programs and are now capable of producing the very weapons he didn't want them to have in the first place. One of those countries, North Korea, has the technology to actually hit the U.S. Or at the very least pose a very real threat to our allies.
OR maybe it's because his Prescription Drug plan is a total disaster. He claimed that it would reduce the out of pocket expenses paid by seniors. Instead it has tripled and even quadrupled the out of pocket expenses.. (I know, my mom went from paying $27 a month to $150 a month. So how is that reduced?) Or maybe it was because he made the claim that he wouldn't touch Social Security to pay for this war, and the first thing he does is ransack Social Security. The only thing I do agree with is the partial privitization of Social Security. It would work for the younger generation (those under 35). Or maybe his No Child Left Behind is a bad idea given a good name. The school's he touted as examples have actually been busted for doctoring their books to make them look better than they were.
I don't know...Take your pick.
Thank you for standing up and saying you're a retard. For a con that's very ballsy and you have my respect. Now if only more would follow your lead.

For starters majority in US are moderates. It's jerks like you and Rush that push me into the flaming liberal nomenclature where most of my beliefs don't lie.

i am a liberal. to me a liberal is in the middle and that is the most reasonable place to be. if one gets to far to one side or the other you begin to sound like a nut job.
