How do you think he got it? From unprotected sex. The mindset was different then - in the 70's when Freddy Mercury came up and about the first half of the 80's when I did, the idea that there could be a sexual disease that could kill you was ridiculous. Nobody had ever heard of such a thing. We have now.
Queen is still my favorite band of all time. I will always miss Freddy.

I'm guessing Bubba put his stuff where Mr Mercury goes poo poo - or maybe he was sharing needles - in the 70's, sex was clean and drugs were accepted - in the 80's, we got AIDS and other diseases

He led a promiscuous lifestyle for many years, it appears that Freddy took it in the backdoor from the wrong guy.

I think it had something to do with his promiscuity. He really never stated why. He actually wanted people to respect his privacy in the whole thing. But all in all he was an amazing artist, and will be missed by many.

First of all use the proper tense. It's get, not got. He most likely got it through sex.
