how can iget a burnt scent out of my dishwasher?

ok silly me i used the dishwasher the other day and put a big plastic cooking spoon in it and it fell and the metal thing in the bottom went right through the plastic spoon leaving an awful scent wen the machine is drying or washing thanks again

Try running your dishwasher (empty) and instead of using the soap, use baking soda.
