There is no way u can guarantee having a fair skinned child. Im currently pregnant, and am happy with however my child turns out.

There is no medical engineering currently out that can give u a higher chance of skin, eye or hair colour. Accept the facts and just hope for a healthy baby.

I'm sorry, but that question just makes you sound very naive. It doesn't (or shouldn't) matter if your child is dark or light skinned, if your husband is dark skinned it should be no surprise to you that there will be a chance your child is dark skinned as well.

There is no way to predict or change your child's skin, that's just ridiculous. It's called genetics.

And it's ridiculous to even think about, let alone ask.

DUH.

I'm fair, my husbands dark, and all of my kids are fair. They just get some really nice golden tans in the summer. They hardly ever get burned. Then in the winter they're back to normal.

if hes black and your white, the child will usually turn out dark. the dark is a dominate gene. the good point is no need for a tan, it will be natural. the negative part is, theyre hair might be screwed up.

you're kinda stuck with your genetics!!!! just have one and pray that there are 10 fingers and 10 toes. you'll be ahead of the game!

you COULD hire a blond-haired, blue-eyed pool guy, but the hubby might not take too well to the idea...

I have a mixed child, I am white and her father is of the darkest black and she is as white as I am. It all depends on who's genes are the strongest and on your family lines.

They do have a procedure that can actually let you pick out the charecteristics of your new baby. It is very expensive but it can be done. I have heard of this and quite a few celbrities have done this already.

Why should it matter? That is so shallow. What kind of mother would even THINK like that?
Love your child no matter how they look. They should be beautiful in your eyes no matter what,
