Hi there,
I won't give you anything specific, but I find a really great way of finding new music is through Amazon.com. Basically, search for a CD that you already own and love, and Amazon usually lists some musical artists and groups that other people (who liked yours) also bought. Also, Amazon often shows "Listmania" - or, top 10 lists people have created of their favourite albums, that included yours. It's an awesome way of finding great music in your genre.
So, for example, I looked up an Alan Jackson "greatest hits" album, and Amazon said that "customers who bought this CD also bought" artists like Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, and Kenny Chesney. Or, a user made a list in Listmania called "Country Music For Those Who hate Country" that suggests you try artists like Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson.
Plus, Amazon has tons of customer reviews and sound clips of the songs, so you can get a feel for the musicians first.
Anyway, I think it's a handy way of finding music that's geared towards your tastes, rather than somebody else's. Best of luck and happy country listening!

Well my best friend loves this song called, "If you're going through hell, just keep on goin." or something like that. I'm not sure who sings it, but I heard it briefly one day and I have to admit, it's kinda catchy and has a great beat! I personally always liked, "Thank God I"m a country boy." by John Denver. That's a real knee slapper for sure.

Well, Im not a country fan at all, but I like Willie Nelson singing "The City Of New Orleans". I dont like this new crap. Most new music is crap. Screamo? Rap-Metal? Come on.
