Yeah, I to have seen some of those videos, but you don't have to ride like anyone else. The choices you make while riding are your own, and the outcome of those choices are yours as well. You can either ride safe and enjoy the bike for a good long time, or get in over you head showing off and possibly never come home again.

All of those videos bother me, no matter which bike it is. I never thought I'd have a bike of my own. Now I have one and wish I'd never seen those videos. I'm almost too paranoid to ride, but I'm actually having a bit of fun with it. I think the videos are good for people that need to think before they take chances. Good luck on your racer.

that is good, just ride safe. I go to the mountains and always get passed by some morons riding crotch rockets on street tires and they think they are riding slicks but since they are riding street tires they tend to crash big time.

Go take that superbike school...if you can afford the bike, you can afford the class...they won't make you spill-proof, but there's rave reviews about their courses...

Still doesn't keep me from riding, either; but you can be sure I'm always wearing full gear!
