oo just got contacts after wearing glasses 6 years...
Pros of Contacts:
eye make up is much easier to apply, and looks better
contacts go with everything!
i personally feel way more confident with them
Cons:
can break and leave u screwed and blind
can be sumwat pricy
can irritate ur eyes and that quitely sux
u have to take em out and put em in every nite and every morning, which is more of an effort than just slipping off and on glasses....

i guess there are more cons, but geez, i fugging love my contacts! go for contacts!

Here are some other benefits of contact lenses:

Contacts do not obstruct your view.
There is no glare or reflection to worry about when wearing contact lenses.
Contact lenses do not require a frame.
Contacts do not fog or blur your vision.

Cons = Some users example find contacts irritating and prefer the ease of wearing glasses. Glasses generally require less maintenance when it comes to sterility as well, since they are not placed directly on the lens.

Here are some of the little known advantages often associated with glasses:

Eyeglasses come in multiple styles.
You can buy featherweight varieties.
Eyeglasses can complement or enhance your features or provide a unique twist to your appearance.
Eyeglasses require relatively little maintenance.
Glasses are very affordable.
Glasses come in many different styles, shapes and sizes to meet every need.
You can buy prescription sunglasses to match your eyeglasses.
Contacts won't alter your natural appearance.

Cons - Eye glasses generally allow less peripheral vision than contact lenses. Some users find the weight of glasses on their face or eyes uncomfortable. Fortunately newer technology including the advent of featherweight technology has helped decrease some of this discomfort.

Cons-Glasses can make your eyes look totally different and rain gets splattered on them so you cant see. if you break them it is harder/longer to replace than contacts. you cant rub your eye without your glasses being there. there is a limit to your being able to see good every where(up and down and to the sides)
With contacts they can make you eye dry and if you rip them and you dont have a spare (which it is easy to rip) then you have to suffer with them stinging you eye really bad. if you loose them it can be really hard to find cause they are clear. you cant let them dry out when they arent in your eyes.
Pros-Glasses are easier to find if they get lost. They dont dry your eyes out, and they are easy to take off and on where as contacts take a couple minutes to take in and out. you can get a variety of styles of large and small glasses.
Conacts allow you to see everywhere, you can usually get a pack for like 6 months if they are disposable (wear them for a month then throw them away and get another pair from the box that has them all). The rain doesnt splash on them and limit your ability to see well, you can rub you eye as long as you are carefull not to rub too hard or too much so as not to make them fall out, and you can see your eyes better and they can look good on a lot of people cause they look like they origionally did before their eyes got bad, and you can change the color of your eye if you get the colored ones.
In the end the best way is if your eyes never go bad, but that is not guarrenteed so you just have to make a choice between the two when they do.

Cons: Glasses can be annoying when going to amusement parks or when it is rainning outside or when you fall asleep in them and roll over on them. Can't wear sunglasses. Pros: Pick up and go when on the move. Fashionable new styles Contacts help you see better b/c they are directly on your lens. Then can get really dry and dirt from the wind or something really irriates them. In the morning if you are still really tired, its hard to put them in. Its like your eyes wont take them. If you fall asleep in the regular ones, they stick to your eyes (ouch). Can wear them at parks, when it is rainning. If you get contacts get the disposable 2 wks. I have both, and it is nice to switch up.

The only time I think about getting contacts is when I am in bed with a man, because glasses get in the way, but I need to keep them on or everything goes all fuzzy.

I couldnt wear contact lenses, due to sensetive eyes, but if you can thats what Id do, but keep them clean, Eye infections can be a real *****. If you can find a pair of glasses that you love, Id do that too. It all depends on what you like and what your eyes can handle. Its your preference. I didnt wear my glasses till I was 32. I finally found a pair that looked good and I loved. I eventually had lasik tho. I also reccommend that. Its up to YOU tho. Good luck.

Pros of wearing glasses...you don't have to stick anything in your eye, they don't get lost as easy as contacts, they are easier to clean, they don't irritate your eyes, they are usually cheaper, you don't have to replace them as often, they can be a fashion statement.

Pros of wearing contacts...you may look better (some people look better in glasses)

Glasses-- I skateboard and whatnot, glasses sucked when they'd fall off , or your doing some strenuous activity and sweat so they slip off your nose, not cool.
Contacts- Good as long as you keep em clean and if you have sensitive eyes, DO NOT sleep in them. Gotten druk and fallen asleep in them way too many times, feel like your eyes just wanna fall out the next day.

I'D GO WITH LASIK :)

Contacts- pros: applying makeup is easier, you can wear nonprescription sunglasses, you can lay down and watch TV without bending you frames. cons: taking them off every evening and cleaning the case and lens, they may dry out on you causing you to use drops, depending on the severity of your vision they can get expensive, your vision isn't as sharp as your glasses.
Glasses- pros: with the right prescription your vision is the clearest, you can wear cute frames, one time cost. cons: they can stretch out and have to be bent back into shape often, you have to take them off to lay down.

contacts dry out easily, as confortable as they may claim to be. it can also be irritable when a tiny speck of dust hits it. totally not good for allergy season either.

glasses can strain your eyes, but provide more oxygen. it also speeds up the need for a new perscription. with glasses, you don't need to worry about eye drops.
