Yesterday my other half clean a turtle and in its stomach it had chuncks of apples. I thought they only ate fish and such.

Because it is a little known fact that not only will an apple a day keep the doctor away, it will also keep the vet away. Seriously though, they will eat a lot of different plants too.

snappers are scavengers. they'll eat whatever they can catch or find laying on the ground or at the bottom of a pond. they'll eat damn near anything they can grab on to.

i don't like them because a lot of times they'll try to catch a fish and the fish will get away with a big V shaped notch cut in it from the turtle's bite. the fish will die and the snapper will just lie in wait for another fish to swim by.

that is an annoying behavior of most turtles/terrapins. having a terrapin in your garden is one of the worst things you can have. they will take a single bite out of a tomato--then move on to the next one. take a bite out of the next one---move on. they can do more damage to a garden than a rabbit.

dont you eat apples. they also eat vegetation. I;ll bet head thought nobody would eat him either lol. did his legs still move in the frying pan? lol yep

Turtles are omnivores and will eat both meat and vegies.
