I bought the ink refil kit that has the needle where you fill the cartridge with ink. So I did that the cartridge is full i cleaned the print head with the cleaner provided. I put it in the printer correctly and reset the printer. I also did the service thing to align the cartridge and clean it and stuff through the control panel. I've tried everything I know and it still won't print. Does anyone know what I can do to make this thing print. I have tried it in both a hp deskjet 3322 and a hp psc 1315 all in one printer they take the same cartridge. Any suggestions would help.

It could be that you let the cartridge sit too long, and the sponge nearest the head inside is dried out to the point of not absorbing ink even though most of the cartridge did, I use the universal refill kit available at wal-mart, it comes with a cleaning solution that you inject into the cartridge and flush it out..... They say not to leave a empty cartridge in a printer for more than 3-5 weeks without possible non recovery of the head function.. Good Luck

I would have just bought a brand new cartridge. I don't like the refill kits because they don't seem to work well and if as you say that it has been sitting in the unit for a long time a new cartridge may just do the trick.

Could the cartridge itself be clogged with old ink?
