A friend is someone who you can trust whole-heartedly.
Someone who you can share your secrets with in confidence, someone who will give you a hug when you're feeling blue, offer advice, share their time, patience, listen to you and someone who you can do the same for in return.
As well as this, a friend should be someone who you enjoy spending time with and who enjoys spending time with you.

Have you ever felt lost and alone, You will always need people. Success in life is a collection of relationships and that success is dependent upon the degree you succeed with people, these people are counted as friends. (Friendship Is A Word in this hurting world) and friendship teaches you how to succeed that.
With Friendship you'll also learn why everyone you meet has something different to give. Some friends analyze and critique you, these types of friends are also necessary as these types of personalities involved in your life teach and strengthen you as a person. You have to choose your friends as per your likes and dislike, unlike relative that you have to accept every person who is your relatives; friends can be chosen by you and can be treasured as your life time achievement. This is the only trophy that you award for ur self, as friends are with you for ever.

From ur query, one old saying comes into my mind-------------------- Flower that blooms in a garden, stays 4 an hour. But frnship that glooms in true people's hearts remains like a tower. It is just as the difference between fun and pleasure!!!!!!!!!!
