It should as long as you don't do anything to further irritate the skin.
That's plenty of time for your skin to heal itself naturally, but if you want, go buy a soothing product especially designed for the facial skin. A general body cream/lotion may be too harsh.
Stay away from any makeup until it's healed, and any acne products around the area. Use a mild cleanser, no soap or salicylic acid. Avoid anything with dyes, alcohol, or perfumes. Don't let the skin dry out though. If you don't have one, get a natural moisturizer. Try 100% aloe gel if you can.

Yes. It's natural to experience some irritation after waxing the upper lip area. Next time apply moisturizer afterwards to lessen the irritation. The rash should go away in a few days.

sweetie, go to the store and buy you some Vaseline and put it on your rash several times throughout the day and at night before going to bed. It will be gone in a couple of days. You have just irritated your skin from too much friction.
Vaseline is inexpensive and works better than anything I know of.

Wow! You start that late? My son's just finished his first week back at school.
And yes, the redness should fade in a few days. Use a facial wax next time. There's a kind at Walgreens that has a redness reducer/pain relieving lotion in it. Sally Hensen I think. Microwavable. Works great! Redness goes away by the time you wake up in the morning.

Just leave it alone, dont touch it, dont sit outside the sun too long either it might aggravate it. You could put some ice on it to calm it down and also try putting neosporin on it that always helps, it wont make it bad. If you ignore it and let it heal on its own and maybe try putting neosporin on it it would go away before your school starts.

Put some neosporin and it should be fine. It should clear up by then but do put the ointment on so the healing process is faster
