Well no doubt, Asif is better then akhtar coz akhtar only thinks of speed and in between loses his concentration. but asif is far more concentrated on his line and lenght then speed , he knows that what are his limitations while akhtar wants speed only and in that way he gives extras and scribble his line a bit. That is my opinion.

They both are the good bowlers Asif for accuracy and line and length and Akhtar for pace but I think Asif is better.

Imran Khan retired Wasim Akram took his place
Wasim Akram was getting old Waqar Younis took his place
Both Wasim n Waqar retired Shoab Akhtar took their place but got no partner with him
Shoab was injured Rana took his place
Rana was in good bowler but Asif came took Rana's,Shoab's,Wasim's as well as Waqar's place so he is better than shoab or rana but certainly he would take some time to prove it to the whole world but anyway shoab akhtar is a star we cant forget him he is junooni n very fast
so even though asif is better but i gota say that cricket is tasteless with out shoab akhtar every outsider likes him he is very popular in australia

concerning Bond is in touch he has the organic skills of bowling good quick bowling. concerning Asif I actually have not considered a lot of Asif so no remark. concerning Sreesanth, he has to instruct his bowling abilities. If no longer, he might want to be dropped and end of his occupation in cricket. Now that Sreesanth has taken some wickets, he will be in the team for the stability Indian try suits adversarial to Sri Lankan cricket team.

Shoaib Akhtar is better and the fastest bowler in the world with a speed of 161.3 km/h (100.2 mph) so it scares the indian batsmen.

MOHAMMAD ASIF is better bowler than SHOIAB AKHTAR.
ASIF has comfortable bowling action. He has very good line & length & variety in his bowling. He is good bowler.
