I've heard 'kuh-leese' (for years now) and 'kee-less' (on the radio recently). Some one help!

You're right! It's like kuh - leese! I saw her on 106 yesterday. It's a mixture of both her parents names! Here's some additional info from the wikipedia! :
Kelis Rogers was born in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan, New York. Her father, Kenneth, was a black jazz musician and a Pentecostal minister; her mother, Eveliss, was a fashion designer, who inspired her to pursue her singing career. "Kelis" is a combination of her father's and mother's names. Kelis' name is pronounced 'Kuh-Leese'. Kelis' father is African-American and her mother is of Puerto Rican and Chinese descent.

its actually kuh-leese its fusion of her father and mothers name . so yeah but i say keleese kinda like release but wit a kel on it lol x
