This is a lovely one. Normally the Queen is the wife of the King. In other words she is the Queen Consort. When her husband dies she retains the title Queen but the laws of succession would apply as to who would take the throne.

If the queen in the monarch - as QE2 - her husband would be the Prince Consort - Prince Phillip the Duke of Edinburgh. She would have inherited the throne on the death of her father, unless her father was a Prince Consort. That would mean having two Queens in a row, with neither of them having any brothers. In this highly unlikely situation the Queen would inherit the Monarchy on the death of her mother the former Queen. This would mean that the first Queen's surviving husband would be called "His Royal Highness, Prince xxx the Queen Father"

If Prince Phillip survives QE2 he will be "His Royal Highness, Prince Philip the King Father" because Prince Charles will -presumably - inherit the Monarchy.

The queen's father would be king if he was still alive, but in that case, the "queen" wouldn't be queen, she'd be princess. So the queen's father is dead.

He would have to have been himself a king, so "King (whatever-his-name-is)". Of course, by the time his daughter ascends to the throne as Queen, he must necessarily be dead, so perhaps "The Late King (whatever-his-name-was)".
