how many do u think can live in a 10 gallon tank? i found some online and i was wondering what i could keep.

A 10 gallon tank is too small for piranha. You need something about 25 gallon at least with heating and filtration. Yes they can eat each other if they are over crowded. These are quite big fisha nd because they are carnivors they produce alot of ammonia in thier waste and so need a good filtration system.

I had some before, but they are troublesome, they need a high protein diet (like meat) so you have to keep the water clean to stop build up of toxins. Unfortunately you probably won't be able to keep much more than 2 in a 10 gallon tank, as they can grow up to 12 inches (30 cm). They will eat each other if not properly fed.

Yes, if they are hungry and nothing is there to eat.
