I've been married for 26 years. I think it's because opposites attract and get married. The kids come along and things are fine. When the kids get out of the house then a couple is left without anything in common. Moral of the story is marry someone more like you, someone you can hang with when your in your mid 40's. Otherwise the crisis comes from boredom.
