Can 802.1 WIRELESS USB ADAPTER communicate with wireless router? these two items can let laptop or desktop access to internet?

That depends on the type of adapter and, and the type of router. For example, I have a 802.11a/b/g adapter in my laptop, this card can comunicate with any current, router.

Most routers are dual band, meaning you can have both wireless B and G devices using the same router. Just about anything you buy today will work without problems.

yes it can you need to be on the router pc get in to the router home page and set up a network id for the usb adapter also put in a security key use a wpa security key then that is done
you go back to the pc with the usb adapter in install the divers for the usb adapter and it will ask you to put in the usb adapter when you do it will install the network drivers then you restart your pc and when your back at the desktop you click on the usb network icon by the pc time and then click on view wireless networks and your see the network id you set up from the router pc you click on the new network id then you click on connect and then it will log online when you have got online make sure you do this to lock your network off so others cant get on your network only your router pc and the comouters with the usb adapters can


you do make sure you call your (isp) or this will happen
is your pc still slow & your internet you have done a full system scan
with your anit virus /anti spyware you even defragmenter your hard drive
done a scan disk but your pc is still slow and your internet is not as good
then you need to check your router it dont mater what router you have

people in the vicinity is on your network

you call your (isp)
GET THIS SET TO DISABLED

(GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING )
it dont matter what router you have you need to get
(GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING ) set to disable

is your router safe?
you need to call your (isp) server
they have to get you in to your router home page
then from there ..copy & paste the router home page
into a notepad then save that to a back up cd

now from there they have to take you to the part
where (GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING ) is
then you click on ( GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING) icon
then at the top of the page on the right your see
configure.. you click on configure
then you .. UN-TICK .. the box ( GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING)
that is ticked there ...
then you click look down the page your see

Usually. It depends on if the router is the same configuration as the adapter(54 Mbps or 108 Mbps)
