From a professional, green iguanas generally don't make good pets and get to be about 4' long. Leopard gecko and crested gecko require a trip to the pet store every week for live food unless the insects are ordered in bulk. Ball Python gets to be 6-7'
long and eats frozen (if taught) or live mice. We do not recommend children ages 5 and under handle any of the above because children have a tendency to put their fingers in the mouth. We also don't recommend having a Ball Python in a house in an unsecure area or running free. This constrictor could
easily kill a small child, even though the personaliy of the Ball Python is generally laid back.

because of the size and temperment (they are generally very mean) the type of lighting and cage size and food iguanas are not good for beginners leopard geckos are generaly good to hold eat good no special light and dont grow very big and they rarely bite creasted are more arboreal live in the trees and faster but they also do not grow that big nor do they require specal lighting ball pythons are very docile other iguanas they do require bigger housing then the rest they also have a reputation for being hard to get to eat they also grow to be 4' or so why not a corn snake they are very docile a 55 gal tank is the biggest you need for an adult they are great eaters and there care is simple and iguanas can get to grow to 6-7 foot and ballpythons only 4-5 foot and as far as killing small children we right now have 4 that our two year old loves and plays with
