I'd say overall, this summer's movies pretty much sucked. Pirates was a total let down. The Devil wears prada and the DaVinci code fell victim to "the book was better". Just my luck made me want to just shoot myself, and everything in between isn't worth mentioning.
The only good movie this summer is "Little Miss Sunshine" (just came out today, and if you have a dysfunctional family, you'll think it's brilliant.)
Maybe I missed some, (though I've seen EVERYTHING), but maybe someone could reccomend, or tell me what they thought of this summers "blockbusters"

I forgot to mention kid's movies, like barnyard, cars, and over the hedge, all of them were totally cute, but I don't count them because I wasn't exactly the target audience.
xmen was okayy, and superman, I felt, was just an atrocity compared to the original.
I can't stand when hollywood tries to reheat an old classic dish. It never tastes the same.

The Lakehouse, I know, cheesy, but it's the only one that had an ending I could deal with. I haven't seen LMS yet, no time with school starting. Other than one romantic movie that I loved just so I could love something romantic, it's all been terrible. The better movies always come out in the winter anyway.

I haven't seen any great movies in theaters, only the ones I rented from blockbuster.
Pirates 2- A HUGE LETDOWN!
X-Men 3- AWFUL! AN EVEN BIGGER LETDOWN!
Superman- Okay but could of been way better
M:I:III- okay, not great but nothing compared to the first

Memoirs of a Geisha was a beautiful movie. I still like the book better but its a good movie to watch.

well you may not have liked just my luck but i meet Mcfly the band in that movie and i luv them more then anything there hott with british beautiful hot british accents how could you resist them there so hot
