What was knitted up in our mother's body comes unknit. What we made of the spirit that was within the body is released to find the place that it came from. If we extinguished the spirit enough by smothering it with rotten living, the spirit is not strong enough to return to it's source so it flickers like a weakened flame and is lost to the dark.

This is the same questions that the inquisitive son of some great king needed answer for. And he would not be satisfied untill he had it. I cannot give you the entire story because it is long and in dialog format. I think it is in one of the puranas. To give you some peace for now, the God of death answers the boys all questions except this one because he says, it is not so easy to understand that secret. Buy the boy would not have any of it. Finally the secret is revealed to the boy. Personally I sometimes think life is to be feared more than death...disease, suffering, attachment, pain...all these come with life. Hopefully you will have your answers when the time is ripe. Till then take care and derive comfort from the fact that these questions are not new or strange. good luck

Two angels will descend down to you in your grave and will show you what you did in your life (good deeds + bad deeds), and based upon that you will end up either getting tortured in ur grave or getting a wonderful piece of Heaven in your grave
When all the people are dead, Judgment Day will happen, and those who are good will go to Heaven and those who are bad will go to Hell
Of course, your body will be separated from your soul at death, and you will realize that only your soul was true since the body will rot away (i.e. not stay forever). Hence, you will realize that there is no such thing as disappearance since your soul will stay alive.
Death is the process of you moving to another world where the pleasures or pain you get in that world depends on what you did in your life
If you don't believe me, wait till you die :)

Some one will bury you or cremate you and if you are real nice in life maybe even hold a wake or funeral service in your memory! But as far as spiritually, you should probably have that all worked out personally before you pass on!

Neither I or anyone else really knows despite what they might say. I think that it is possible that we are all functions of the connections between the neurons in our brains and when the brain dies we cease to exist.

who knows.. no one's been there and back... and theres no proof...but i believe that there is a heaven....and bad people will be punished...goodness will be rewarded...and others that fall in between will be given a second chance to be reincarnated....until we all reached peace within and be enlighten..
