Of course YES! Not all people crave for sex all the time. There are men and women who value friendship in the most pure, respectful and essential way, where sex is definitely not involved, and their friendships with the opposite sex last a lifetime. You can find these people in unexpected circumstances, and these are times when you are also pure and have high regard on people.

Yes, as long as the spouses are healthy, unterritorial sorts. Meaning, as long as the spouses won't be like, "You're dressing up for 'him'" or some other such nonsense that makes it hard to remain friends. But definitely yes. When I was younger, almost all my friends were guys.
I think men and women can learn a lot from each other.

If men and women can not be friends then what is the use of telling little boys to be nice to girls then...We need to be friends. Sex does not need to be into everything we do...
