If time tivel to the past is possible, someone must have perfected it by the year 3000, or 4,000, or 10,000, or 100,000 and some people must have used it to tivel back to 2006. Have you met any such people?

you assume that we survived, and that is the question, will there still be humans alive to crack time travel ...and if that time traveler comes back and does anything that has even a minor effect that ripples toward the future, altering events, then maybe that person's life changes in such a way that he isn't interested in time travel...so what is he doing here?
Let's try that again...the time traveler comes back, appearing suddenly, startling someone driving an SUV who runs a stop sign killing a young boy. The young boy ironically would have been the time traveler's great great grand father, but since he is dead, the chain of events leading to the birth and life of the time traveler no longer exists, so does the time traveler disappear?
One thing I learned from years and years of watching Star Trek is that you don't mess with the past because it effects the future.

Did you know there was someone who claimed to be a time traveler, and his story was at least interesting, he came back for a computer part, his name is/was/will be: John Titor and here is the fascinating link:

Yes; I have met such person: the Lord God.

He finds it just as easy to work backwards as forwards!!

"How's that??", you say

Well because in reality there is no time!

All things are contained within ETERNITY.
Therefore, as the Lord himself, has said, "All things are present with me, for I know them all"
There is no future or past.
In eternity, all things that we call past or future are actually ever present before God's eyes!!

Only WE are experiencing 'Time'; the Lord is not.
Our entire realm is contained - confined - within His.

Does that answer your question for you?

I'm also mildly with 'play girl 69', because there is not much work left to do in terms of going back in time!
Another 25 to 30 years [well less than the latter, really] and it will be ALL OVER!!
WON'T THAT BE JUST SO GOOD!!
At last!!!

All the absolutely terrible phenomena up immediately ahead and the despicable behaviour of people that is to happen will be all over by then!!

But, in the meantime, I hate to say it, BUT WE HAVE SHEER HELL FACING US JUST AT PRESENT!!!

I pray you all God's Protection against it all...

Well, maybe the world will not live that many more years... did you think about that? There are ancient civilizations that have pinpointed the end of the world to this millenium... specifically, 2012 (aztec calendar). So... if your theory is correct, that would have to be false... and maybe there are people from other times here.

Actually, you can't go back in time, but you can jump into the future... Accdng to the Theory of Special Relativity, "moving" clocks run slow. So when something moves close to the speed of light, c, relative to the (earth, for example) the time will go slower for the object. So relative to the earth, your time(if you';re the one travelling) is slower than earth's time, that's why travelling back in time is not possible....i wont discuss the theory of relativity here cause i it wont fit in here.... if you want the equation.... t' = t x √(1-v²)
t' = time between two events measured in a reference frame where they occur at the same place
t = Time between two events measured ina reference frame where they occur at different places
v = relative speed of the two reference frames, as a fraction of c

heheh. that was my answer in the previous question (Time travel?)

and nothing can go faster than speed of light....

that's impossible dude i explain you why.
when you go back in time (& space) you actually are not going backwards but you are going in another dimension. after you are in that dimension whatever you do does not effect anything that has happened in the past or will happen in the future. so nobody can can change the history or plan the future.
Note: like time travel by humans is theoratical, the concept of parallel dimensions ( universes) is also theoratical.

What this guy is saying could be possible. You could use a worm hole to travel through time if you could harness one.
