So many good choices, how to pick just one?
George W. Bush, the anti-president, aka the Shrub. Who has worked harder at shredding the Constitution, trampling on the rights of citizens and acting as though he had been elected king of the world?
If he ever was elected to begin with that is. The first time he was appointed by the Supreme Court. The second time they told us he had been elected, but how can we know for sure? Hell, I live in Florida, which means I really don't know who I voted for.
Those of us who are even somewhat familiar with computers know that you can't trust them blindly. Too often, the information you see comes from hackers, scammers, phishers and other unsavory characters. That's why we download or purchase virus protection, spyware blockers, pop-up blockers and all manner of other software to protect us from those who want to deceive us, spy on us or simply want to intrude on our privacy.
Now that voting machines are becoming more and more difficult for the citizens to check up on, we may never again know for sure who actually won any election at all. The responsibility of checking electi\on results should not be left in the hands of the politicians and their flunkeys.
Just my opinion, but I likes it.
