Why are so many teens strongly supportive of violence and oppression?

Are teens in a subject position? Are teens often people who feel helpless and less than others? Why are teens often so retributive and hateful, and supportive of violence, war, oppression and vengeance? I know this does not reflect the position of all or even most teens perhaps, but why do we see such vulgarism, such self-disrespect in so much of the language and political ideas of teens in the United States?

Teens are still in a state of aggressiveness and little understanding of the real world. Thus, they are supportive of violent and oppressive actions.

Do you remember being a teenager?

I was angry! My ideas and knowledge were just as diverse as those I conversed with, yet I was "Just a kid". We had all the rights and none of the responsibility, we were sexually mature, yet more often than not it was against the law to be intimate with those we loved, in the eyes of the adults, we were nothing. Not only that, it was US who were going to have to clean up after all the older folks cock-ups. Never was I angrier than in my youth.

Violence is an outlet and a source of power not granted to youth via diplomacy.

TALK to them, treat them with the respect you would any other human being, and you'll find yourself with a good friend and an enlightened viewpoint.

Will I'm 16 and I don't do nor support the things that u stated..BUT yeah it does seem true..

But just look at the role models the the u.s. teens have that should pretty much answer Ur question..(Just take a look at their government!!)

to be honest, i dont even think its all teens. Alot of adults are in jail becuase of disrespect, hateful and just violtent actions. teenagers have always rebeled, but kids have taken things to far now a days becuase of everything they see on television and games.
