Hey, I can handle my own bodily functions, but do we have to think about everyone else doing the same exact thing?

If I always let the matters go, then I would never be in tune with how my body is working.
For instance, I could be having a nosebleed and not know it, thinking it's just mucus dribbling down my nose.

You MUST look at it. That is how you know if your sinuses are infected (the blood), what your getting out, and if what you are getting out looks healthy.
For example, if your crap is coming out green, you really can't say you had a healthy bowel movement!
