Imagine cotton candy versus say broccoli. More people would eat cotton candy than broccoli because it is sweet. Paris Hilton is cotton candy of the moment. She is light fluffy and essentially meaningless. Compare that to the broccoli, war, death, terrorism, a president with an IQ about half of Paris Hiltons.
She also is a living Barbie Doll. Who wouldn't want to be rich, blond, a model with nothing to worry about except which party to crash in the next two hours.
It isn't hating her to say "Why, oh why! The humanity!" It is saying hey, life means more than that, wake up, smell the bird shot from dick Cheney's gun! Get involved.

she's this embodiment of wealth-she can have whatever she wants. men find her attractive. she has cute dogs, wears lotsa pink, and (some) people look to her for fashion. she's got it all (materialistically).

but you're right- she's done nothing to improve the world. she probably doesn't even stop to think while she's buying a pair of shoes "gee I wonder if the workers who made these are underpaid and work in a sweatshop and can barely feed their families." she doesn't realize all that she has- and that's the worst part. she doesn't appreciate it. she just tries to get more.

she really hasn't done nothing. and to me i don't think she is all that great all i think of her is she is a spoiled little rich girl that has it all. but i do like her a hell of alot more than nicole and i don't hate nicole its just that paris has the better attitude than nicole and you could tell she would be nicer.
