pregnant, and wanted to keep it. She's only turned 16, and she's pregnant. I know abortion is wrong but she actually wants to keep it. Her boyfriend is a drop out, and she is as good as a drop out. They can barely afford to pay rent in an apartment they're sharing with a whole bunch of people. It's killing me, I need some advice on what to tell her!!! I need to convince her to get rid of it!!!!

She's got a family behind her... wow all of you have really opened my eyes. I think I have an idea of what to tell her once she calls me. The sad thing is they dont have a phone, or barely any food for themselves...
This is why I'm concerned!!!

You cant do any thing but support her. Honestly, i think abortion is murder. Ur friend probably regrets what she has done, but its all in the past now and there is nothing u can do about it. My friend is 13 and she just had a baby, i didn't want HER to keep him, but she did, and now there is one more life in the world and its really ok. i now realize that i should have supported her earlier on, and after his birth i totally changed my perspective and i think Ur friend wood like it if she had u behind her on this one! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

I think you should show her all the negative effects of keeping the child but at the end is her decision to keep the baby or not. If she decides to keep the baby you should help her as much as you can and get information on places she could go to get help

Well, if she has the help of her parents she might can manage. But you're right. A 16 year old has no business raising a baby. But it's her choice. Just support her and be there for her.

If she want's to keep the baby you can't convince her anymore not to. Be there for her and help her out as much as possible. Has she considered putting the baby up for adoption? What about family>? Can they help?

If your a real friend, you'll give her all your support an help her any way you can. But you can't tell her how to live her life, your not her, all you can do is be her friend when she needs one.

I think you just need to be a true friend and support her decision.........and she could always go and get her GED if she does drop out of school........
