I had a similar concern approximately ten years in the past once I first began recording. have self assurance it or no longer you may the right thank you to checklist. The greater you do it the greater clever you get at is. have confidence me Brittany Spears discovered to, so are you able to. As you start to learn your voice and how it sounds in playback, you will learn how to circumvent particular notes and runs throughout the time of recording which you will possibly have no concern making a music stay. Ever be conscious how the terrific artists sound much greater clever stay? nicely they have discovered the paintings of this. Beyonce saves her terrific vocals runs for stay performances----via fact she would be able to sing and it sounds greater clever in individual. Chritina Alguilera sounds much greater clever stay via fact she does much greater runs stay than she does interior the studio----Christina has discovered a number of her terrific vocals sound terrific in individual no longer interior the studio. earlier Whitney Houston went on crack she replaced into outstanding stay---I recommend ridiculous---Did you ever pay attention her rendition of the enormous call Spangled Banner she sang on the super bowl over ten years in the past? some human beings nevertheless argue she would be able to't be touched. Brittany Spears on the different hand won't be able to sing and in basic terms places each and every thing interior the studio. So keep recording and learn the paintings of this---it may the two make or wreck you. sturdy luck

No, just different. You are used to hearing your own voice through the filter of your own head rattling. It sounds different on tape. You've never heard that "person" talking before and when you know it is you, you start picking out flaws. It's a self-esteem issue.

Don't worry; you've sounded that way your whole life and haven't been stoned to death yet...:)

no i use to think the exact same thing but it seems that way because our voices sound different from the outside of our heads as they do on the inside of our heads so we hear our voices differently than everyone else does.

No, that is the way it really sounds. What you hear is affected by the bones in your skull and stuff like that. So your voice sounds different.

The tape recorder records your voice as it is and most people are shocked when they hear themselves on tape ("is that really me!!")Unfortunately it is.

I've heard people either love or hate their recorded voice. I dislike mine very much, but no one else seems to mind it, so I don't worry about it when we take videos.
