if the big bang created the universe - what created the big bang? where did it come from?

Well, it could have been caused when the previous collapsing universe came to a point that it could no longer collapse and all the energy gained in collapsing was released in the "Big Bang" causing the current outward expansion. But it really depends on what you believe...in this theory our universal cycle keeps collapsing and expanding endlessly (...<><><><><><><...).

some fools imagination, The big bang is as real as my throwing titanium in your drive way and tomorrow you have a porche, you do the titanium and let me know about the porche. I know the complexity of the human came from a Creator, beyond a shadow of a doubt

The previous universe collapsed in on itself and the mass inside the black hole reached a critical level and blew apart. This happens in a cycle.There is no beginning and there is no end.
