I have to beat a 4 million plus score.

I haven't played MS pinball in awhile, so I don't remember how hard it is to get to 4 million. I don't even remember what rank I got to. But I did find that you could only get so far without cheating (tilting or nudging). Take the earlier advice about Tetris too.....and start at level 9. That will get your reflexes quickened up and have you in the focussed state of mind you will need to be in, if you want to be the next Pinball Wizard.....

I play this on my spare time... I've actually gotten some scores higher than 4 million, when I'm extra bored...
Tips:
Stay calm...
Don't drink caffeine...
Try to visualize the action in a calm slo-mo kind of way so that you don't lose concentration....
That's pretty much it... Oh yeah and if you play Tetris then it's the same strategy...

1) Get used to the control
2) Control the timing that you hit the ball, so that you can aim for the bumpers that can 'trap" your ball. The ball will keep bouncing there.
3) Just don't give up!.
