I have not watched that movie in such a long time. I was blown away by her acting ability as well as her portrayl as a rock star. She so remined me of Janice Jopplin. I cant believe she was not acriticly acclaimed by the big wigs in Hollywood. Great story, very sad ending. Just awsome!!!

Yes, very good story but I was told,.. just like Eminem story Its really wasn't about Janis Joplin at all. She just inspired the story..like the 8 mile movie isn't about Marshal Mathers, He just inspired the story...correct me if I am wrong

Yeah I haven't seen that in years - it is a great movie. And the film was modeled Janice Joplin.

You should pick up some of her cd's, I like the older stuff the best.
Bette has the best voice. And she is such a cool lady!
