Ive heard people say jews are gods people, and that made me think, Im not much of a bible thumper but i do recall the junk the nuns tried shoving down my throat when i was young, that god made all man.
So why do people say this? And most major religions are similar in some way or another, even islam if i recall correctly.
I have no religion, i believe there is something higher entity other then humans, but from my currenet views, i see religion or rather, extreme religions are dangerous.

According to the Bible's scriptures,, the Jews are the chosen people. God created all mankind and we are all God's children. He came down from Heaven and took the form of man, as Jesus Christ, His Son. Jesus Christ was a Jew; born of Virgin Mary, who also was a Jew. Jesus Christ spoke Aramaic, an ancient language similar to Hebrew. This attest to the fact that Jews and the Jewish religion had been in existence long before Islam. Although there are proofs that Buddha existed before Jesus Christ.
Just because the Jewish people are the chosen people, it doesn't make the other races as lesser children of God.
There are documentaries or studies made that the Jesus Christ as we know is the same
God who went to Tibet and created the other religion of Buddhism. He even went to London and created the Christian religion as we know it today. Becasue there were missing yrs in His public life. That is, from the time he was born up to 30 yrs. of age, we didn't hear of Him. These are all points to ponder and reconsider.
Is it better to have a religion and believe in something than nothing at all ?. That is the question. Can religion be dangerous? No. Believing in God, a Supreme Being who's responsible for all living creatures great or small is a positive thing. WE might call God by a diff name be it Allah, Mohammed, Buddha, or Jesus Christ, God stands for love and peace.
Religion is a very controversial issue to discuss
as everybody claim that theirs is the true religion. Many wars, crusades, tortures, and burning at the stakes occured in the name of religion.

Jews once were the Gods chosen people. But they lost the trust of God by doing a lots of mischief in the past history. God's chosen people donot go and murder around and cause destructions. God's chosen people are the one who live and create peace.

Try to understand this, everyone born of God was chosen to do something good, even you,if its good its of God whether you beleive in God or not, the jews were chosen because Jesus came thru their blood line ,but guess what? even the jew did not beleive that GOD for whatever reason chose to come in the flesh of a jew! But like all men who beleives that? so the name God"s people derived from here,so whether jew, gentile, protestant or catholic we are all God 's chosen people!

,Geom in Hebrew gentile in English , by the definition of Jews , which means an inferior type of people , to whom the 10 commandments don't apply .
however , this is just another example of the disaster of organized religion , where all people of each faith think they are the chosen one. if you think about it it doesn't make sense at all , would a creator create and then favors certain group of his creation

God created people in his image, he then separated out Abraham and his decendents as his chosen people to carry out his plan and keep his law.
Before anyone gets on their high horse about it, that's a whole other question.....

We are all the same in God's eyes, but today we just re-word what believers we are. As long as you believe, then you are saved.
