I am already in a fire service certification program where I will get my EMT and 240. I do want to go to college though so as to possibly make battalion chief. Are there any really good schools for this around?

I don't know if it's the best, but the University of Akron's Fire Science program is one of the longest running and most respected program in NE Ohio.

Ohio is one of the states that is a leading member in medicine man. You should have no trouble looking for a good one Case Western is a good school of course Ohio State then you got University of Cincinnati and Univeristy of Toledo. And of Course you still got Wright State University each of these colleges has a med school.
