No. I havent been there. But I used to work at the 7-Eleven on the corner and the staff used to come in there all the time. They were all pretty nice, cool, and laid back. Even their client used to come over, they had nothing but nice things to say about the staff. Heres a link fr them.

I looked up the site for the salon you inquired about, if it were me, it would seem a bit modern for my mom and grandmother if they were still with me. I would suggest "Mario Tricoci" on Michigan ave.. It is my favorite. Has a very relaxing atmostphere. Calm music, full facilities and services, beautiful "quiet room" where you can lay in peace with nice soothing music on big soft fluffy pillows in your robe, where they bring you water or tea and such, inbetween treatments. I would make sure to take at least 20 min between treatments if possible as the room is that great! Last time I went they were still giving free makeovers. The staff is very sweet, and afterwards..... you can go across the street to the cheesecake factory in the Hancock to finish your day of indulging : ) No, I do not work there, but although I do live in Chicago, I once in a while take a vacation in a hotel downtown with friends and do this exact same thing. Here is the site
